Job summary

The Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Coordinator II (226 Days): MTSS Coordinator to lead professional development and district-wide MTSS implementation. You will collaborate with Special Education, Dual Language, Evaluation and Accountability to identify at-risk students and deliver evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate preferred.
• Five years of classroom teaching, administrative, and/or professional development experience in a multicultural setting.
• Experience in a campus-based leadership or coordinating role.
• Proficient in developing, organizing, and conducting effective professional development related to intervention support in reading/language arts, language acquisition, and language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct professional development training sessions for district teachers and administrators on MTSS data and RTI processes.
• Develop Tier II and Tier III interventions for reading, mathematics, language, and engagement for campus implementation.
• Ensure schools utilize Student Support Teams for tiered self-management support.
• Provide data analysis, professional development and ongoing support to principals and coaches.
• Assist with documentation and progress monitoring of intervention plans.
