Job summary

Education Service Center, Region 2 is seeking a MTSS SIL program leader to build LEA capacity for implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework and process to improve student outcomes.

The role requires a Texas Teaching Certificate, experience in leadership within LEAs or regional centers, and strong collaboration skills. Salary ranges from $68,379 to $100,489 annually. You will develop training and coordinate staff development initiatives across districts.

Qualifications

• Strong program development and project management skills in special education and general education as an educator and/or administrator with quantifiable and clear results for student achievement.
• Ability to plan, implement, and follow up on staff development and training
• Knowledge and skills for providing coordinated assistance in the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support process
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership capacity
• TIERs Essential Trainer Certification (preferred)
• Proven experience leading and coaching adults, and experience in working successfully on a team
• Must possess high expectations for the achievement of all students, including students with or suspected as having disabilities
• Must possess strong abilities in communicating with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Knowledge of instructional processes and strategies used with struggling learners in LEAs
