Job summary

King-Center-Charter-School in Buffalo, NY seeks a Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Director to lead district MTSS implementation and oversee CSE processes. The role requires a NYS administrative certificate, a Master’s degree, and at least five years of classroom teaching experience.

You will train RtI facilitators and school personnel, align professional learning with MTSS goals, and report to the Principal. Strong collaboration with ENL and special education staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Teaching Certificate (administrative certificate preferred).
• Master's Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Urban Experience preferred.
• Coaching, Leadership experience.
• Computer Skills (Excel, PPT).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Welcoming, warm, disposition.

Responsibilities

• Continue to monitor and refine MTSS practices district-wide in alignment with laws and best practice.
• Train RtI facilitators and district staff to develop, implement, evaluate MTSS with coaching.
• Support MTSS implementation in schools by providing professional development.
• Meet with School Leadership Teams to assess needs and set MTSS goals.
• Align professional learning and coaching with MTSS implementation goals.
• Support data collection and analysis to ensure fidelity of MTSS activities.
