Job summary

Brandywine Community Schools in Michigan seeks an MTSS Coordinator to assist in developing and implementing a consistent MTSS across the district. You will coach administrators and teachers, provide professional development, and ensure MTSS components are established at the building level.

You will analyze student needs, coordinate universal screening for academics and social-emotional learning, and collaborate with cross-departmental teams to improve outcomes and school climate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education is preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed practices or PBIS.
• Familiarity with MTSS, RTI or tiered interventions.
• LETRS training preferred or willingness to enroll.

Responsibilities

• Provide MTSS development and implementation guidance district-wide.
• Coach district principals to support MTSS and district initiatives.
• Deliver information, consultation, and professional development to site teams.
• Analyze student needs and link to appropriate interventions.
• Support social-emotional learning and whole-child approaches.
• Collect and interpret student achievement data to guide interventions.
• Collaborate with staff to implement district-wide universal screening and restorative practices.
• Share research-based instructional strategies to improve outcomes.

Education

Master’s degree in education - focus on curriculum and instruction or special education

Trauma-informed teaching / PBIS experience

Familiarity with MTSS, RTI

LETRS training preferred or willingness to enroll
