Job summary

Brandywine Community Schools in Michigan seeks a Dean of Students to foster a positive school climate by overseeing student discipline, attendance, and behavior management at Brandywine Elementary School. You will work under the Principal and collaborate with staff, students, families, and community partners to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.

As a member of the school leadership team, you will support MTSS, PBIS, social-emotional learning initiatives, and intervention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, education leadership, or related field.
• Minimum three years of certified teaching, education administration, or K-12 leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees student behavior policies and discipline procedures in line with district/state rules.
• Leads PBIS initiatives and supports staff with behavior management.
• Monitors attendance trends and promotes student engagement.
• Collaborates with counselors and teachers to support student needs.
• Acts as liaison to parents and community and coordinates with leadership team.
• Ensures safe, respectful school climate and crisis management support.
