Job summary

The York City School District is seeking an Elementary Teacher to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing student achievement. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree, valid teaching certification, and at least five years of teaching experience, with a preference for expertise in Special Education.

Your role will include coordinating the MTSS Team, monitoring student progress, and providing professional development. Candidates must be knowledgeable in culturally responsive teaching and technology use.

This position is based in the Administration Building.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years teaching experience.
• Extensive coursework in Special Education preferred.
• Knowledge of MTSS and PBIS principles.

Responsibilities

• Organize and co-facilitate the MTSS Team work.
• Monitor and report student achievement data.
• Customize professional development based on needs.
