Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking an MTS Engineer Cleans Manufacturing to oversee the wet cleans process, including recipe development and reducing variability. You will start up and qualify new processes and equipment on schedule, and work to improve tool-to-tool performance while supporting CIP programs to enhance yield and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in physics, chemical/ manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 6 years of experience in process engineering or related roles.
• Experience with SPC, DOE data, cross-modular audits, and 300mm wafer fabrication.
• Ability to train engineers and drive defectivity improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wet cleans process, including recipe development and reducing variability.
• Start up and qualify new processes and equipment on schedule.
• Improve tool-to-tool performance matching.
• Support CIP programs to enhance process windows, cost, yield, productivity, and line yield.
• Represent the module in cross-functional teams for yield and issue resolution.
• Address MRB and 8D findings, troubleshooting with CAS/procedures and collaborating across departments.
• Work with the team to sustain and improve process performance and SPC while meeting quality, cost, and scrap reduction goals.
