Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in education or related field required.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration in an academic setting.
• Experience with educator licensure programs and MTEL familiarity.
• Experience coordinating workshops, trainings, or student support programs (in-person/online).
• Three+ years working in a public school.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate data systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and promote MTEL Prep Workshops each semester and oversee enrollment for graduate programs.
• Consult with the education department chair on undergraduate MTEL course needs.
• Recruit and support MTEL preparation instructors for face-to-face and online formats.
• Oversee the MTEL Voucher Program with other departments to provide MTEL vouchers to students in need.
• Offer information sessions about MTEL registration, pilot programs, accommodations, and requirements.
• Meet one-on-one with students to support MTEL registration, access MEPID, study strategies, and test essentials.
• Receive, maintain, and analyze MTEL data for trends and compliance.
• Facilitate non-credit MTEL workshops as needed.
