Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Early Intervention team in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a Social Worker MSW to support families navigating developmental delays. You will partner with parents, therapists, and educators to evaluate needs and develop IFSPs.

As an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate care, coach families, and ensure accurate clinical records and billing in accordance with department guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
• Active New Jersey Social Work License (LSW or LCSW).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a child-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental evaluations to identify strengths and needs of children with delays.
• Create and implement IFSPs with measurable outcomes and strategies.
• empower families through direct services and coaching.
• Collaborate with EI team members weekly to plan programs and transitions.
• Adapt interventions using various models to meet family outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and billing documentation.
