Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s School of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work. The role focuses on teaching and advising in both on-campus and online MSW programs, with service obligations.

Candidates should be prepared to be on campus at least three days per week. We seek licensed social workers with relevant experience; the start date is January 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years post-MS W social work practice.
• Ability to teach MSW courses online and on-campus (asynchronous or synchronous).
• Licensed social worker (LMSW/LCSW) preferred and/or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Teach MSW courses across generalist and specialized curricula in online and/or on-campus formats.
• Advise and mentor MSW students, monitor progress and professional development.
• Participate in department, school, and university service activities.
• Engage in student recruitment and program events.
• Collaborate with faculty and coordinate with department leadership.
