Job summary

Children's Aid seeks MST-CAN Therapists in Manhattan to deliver model-adherent, home-based family therapy focused on parent functioning and family dynamics. You will work with the whole family using tools like TF-CBT and family therapy techniques, reporting to the MST-CAN supervisor.

The role emphasizes high-quality clinical care, collaboration with protective services, schools, and guardians, and flexibility to meet family needs, including weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of approximately 4-5 MST-CAN cases.
• Complete required FASPs, Progress Notes, and Plan Amendments on time.
• Maintain timely MST-CAN documentation.
• Engage families and primary caregivers using MST principles.
• Collaborate with systems to ensure buy-in and cooperation.
• Be available 24/7 for client crises and weekends as needed.
• Attend MST-CAN trainings and ACS trainings.
• Work flexible hours including remote field work.
