Children’s Aid in New York City seeks MST-SA Therapists to provide model-adherent, culturally competent, short-term family treatment within the FAP continuum in Brooklyn and/or Manhattan. Therapists report to the MST-SA supervisor and ensure trauma-informed interactions.

Responsibilities include caseload management, completing all documentation, maintaining school and community contacts, collaborating with schools and protective services, and participating in trainings and supervision.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Ability to conduct home-based and community sessions.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Carry caseload of approximately 5 MST-SA cases.
• Complete all MST-SA documentation in a timely manner.
• Engage families in trauma-informed treatment using MST principles.
• Coordinate with schools, child protection, and other stakeholders.
• Be available 24/7 for crises.
• Attend trainings and supervision sessions.
• Work across boroughs and programs as needed.
• Engage in outreach activities to attain 20% self-referrals.

Conhecimentos

Master’s degree in Psychology/Social-

Strong clinical skills

Crisis intervention

Bilingual-English/Spanish (preferred)

Excellent written communication
