Job summary

Casa de Amparo is seeking a Multisystemic Family Program Therapist to support youth and families using the MST model. You will partner with parents, caregivers, teachers, and community supports to reduce risk, improve stability, and promote resilience in homes and schools.

Responsibilities include home-based interventions, caseload management (up to six families), and participation in supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and families, preferably involved with juvenile justice or child welfare.
• Bilingual English/Spanish capability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of youth and family strengths and needs; collaborate with families to develop MST treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions in the family’s home or community several times per week.
• Maintain a caseload of up to six families and provide services for 3–5 months per family.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work / Marriage and Family Therapy / Counseling (CA licensure eligible)

CPR / Pediatric First Aid certification
