Job summary

Children's Aid Society is seeking an MST-SA Therapist to provide model-adherent, culturally competent, short-term treatment to families within the Family Assessment Program in Brooklyn and/or Manhattan. Positions require flexibility for home and community sessions, with supervision and ongoing trainings.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, collaboration with schools and other services, and availability for client crises.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• Ability to work with families and teens in home, school and community.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of approximately 5 MST-SA cases.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes promptly.
• Engage families and key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders to facilitate cooperation.
• Be available by phone 24/7 to respond to client crises.
