Job summary

AMP Dynamic is an AI-native holding company that builds and acquires software businesses. The MSP Systems Engineer role is based on-site at our Charlotte, NC office, focusing on escalations, design, and secure infrastructure for a portfolio of clients.

You will work hands-on with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, and networking, while leveraging AI tools to diagnose and script solutions. This senior role requires real MSP experience and client-facing excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an MSP or IT systems engineering role, not entry-level.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID administration.
• Strong networking skills, especially with UniFi gear, and endpoint management.
• Experience with MSP tooling for RMM, security, and device management.

Responsibilities

• Own Level 2 and Level 3 escalations across a portfolio of clients.
• Design, implement, and maintain client infrastructure: servers, networks, identity, and cloud.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra, Google Workspace, and core business systems.
• Manage and tune our MSP stack: NinjaOne for RMM, Huntress for security, and Iru for Apple device management.
• Lead client onboarding, infrastructure projects, and migrations.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, and security hardening across clients.
• Document thoroughly and mentor Level 1 technicians.
• Work AI-native: use AI tools to diagnose, script, and resolve faster, while owning every change you push.

We keep companies running by managing their systems, securing their networks, and solving their technology problems fast.The MSP Systems Engineer is the technical backbone of our team. You own the escalations the help desk can't, design and implement client infrastructure, and keep dozens of businesses secure and running. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has done real MSP work. This is **not** an entry-level role* Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra ID administration* Strong networking on Ubiquiti (UniFi) gear: firewalls, VLANs, VPN, DNS, switching, and Wi-Fi* Experience with RMM, security / EDR, and MDM tooling (NinjaOne, Huntress, and Iru, or equivalents)* Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization experience* Backup and disaster recovery (BCDR) experience* **AI-native:** you use modern AI tools to script, troubleshoot, and document faster, and you know their limits* Excellent communication and client-facing skills* Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ certifications are a plus
