Visual Edge IT is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of MSP Security to lead and grow our Managed Security Services practice. This executive role will articulate vision, set strategy, and drive operational excellence for scalable security solutions across our client base.

The ideal candidate blends cybersecurity leadership with managed services insight, strong business acumen, and the ability to guide security operations at an enterprise level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing cybersecurity, managed services, consulting, or related teams.
• Experience budgeting, evaluating performance, vendor relationships, and service profitability.
• Strong business and financial acumen with balance of technical and customer focus.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and growth of the Managed Security Services practice.
• Drive development and evolution of security service offerings.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to security leaders and technical teams.
• Oversee performance, scalability, and profitability of managed security services.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security with business objectives.
• Guide SOC strategy and service delivery excellence.
• Evaluate cybersecurity technologies and market trends for growth opportunities.
• Establish governance standards for security technologies and service delivery.
• Develop operational plans, workforce strategies, and org structures to support growth.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex customer and security matters.
