Heartland Business Systems in Missouri is seeking an entry-level Managed Services Engineering Associate to provide broad IT support for desktop, application, servers, networking and security devices. You will work with a dedicated team to learn technologies and deliver reliable service to customers.

You will perform proactive maintenance, assist with remote support, and contribute to day-to-day IT operations while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the HBS managed services team that provides critical IT Support for multiple HBS customers.
• Obtain knowledge on a variety of technologies and platforms used by customers as directed by your Team Lead.
• Perform proactive maintenance duties such as switch/firewall/routers upgrades, server patches, workstation patches, firewall rules, etc.
• Assist in Remote application and hardware support for switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and storage.
• Monitor and analyze customer networks, systems, backups, and security appliances.
• Work with customer’s primary field engineer to perform work on an as needed basis.
• Cross-Education/Mentoring of other Heartland Interns, Managed Services Engineers, and related personnel.
