Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Ophthalmology/Endocrinology to connect the medical community with scientific data and real-world insights. You will network with thought leaders, manage relationships with academic centers, and support medical strategy across the AL, LA, AR, and MS regions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific information into meaningful clinical and health-economic value, supporting investigator-initiated and company-sponsored

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree with 3+ years in Medical Affairs or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in Medical Affairs or related field.
• Two years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management and meetings.
• May require long travel days and ability to learn new business applications.

Aufgaben

• Serve as scientific liaison to medical/scientific community in Ophthalmology and Endocrinology.
• Network with external customers including thought leaders, academic institutions, and health-care professionals.
• Communicate scientific and medical information and value of products to medical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal functions to address unmet needs with medical information.
• Identify potential external speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored programs.
• Attend national/regional conferences to support medical strategy and gather competitive intel.
• Facilitate external IITs and company-sponsored trials in collaboration with clinical teams.
