Job summary

Amgen, a leader in biotech, seeks a Medical Science Liaison to cover Ophthalmology and Endocrinology across AL, LA, AR, and MS. You will build relationships with key opinion leaders, support medical and scientific initiatives, and communicate complex data to clinicians and researchers.

This role requires advanced degrees (doctorate or master's with MA experience or bachelor’s with MA experience), plus potential travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Two years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific liaison to medical/scientific community and establish relationships with key opinion leaders and clinicians.
• Effectively communicate scientific/medical information and the value of products to the medical community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical strategy and external speaker programs.
• Identify potential external collaborations and support IITs or company-sponsored trials.
• Monitor competitive landscape and report trends to senior leadership.
