Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Ophthalmology/Endocrinology to act as a scientific liaison with the medical community and external partners. The role involves communicating scientific data, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting external speaker programs and clinical collaborations.

The position requires advanced degrees with Medical Affairs experience, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to 60% for regional and national conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in a sciences field plus relevant Medical Affairs experience
• Bachelor’s degree with significant Medical Affairs experience also acceptable
• Strong communication and networking skills, with ability to travel up to 60%

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific liaison to medical/scientific community and external thought leaders
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate scientific/medical information and product value
• Identify potential speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored programs
• Support conferences and external meetings to advance Medical/Clinical strategy
• Evaluate external collaboration opportunities and IITs or company-sponsored trials
