Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Ophthalmology and Endocrinology in the United States. You will serve as a scientific liaison to the medical community and will collaborate with external thought leaders to communicate the clinical and economic value of Amgen medicines.

You will travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, and meetings, working with cross-functional teams to support medical strategy and external collaborations, including IITs and sponsor trials

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Two years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.

Responsabilités

• Understand, integrate and effectively communicate scientific/medical information and commercial value of products.
• Prioritize and work effectively in a self-directed manner in a changing environment.
• Pair customers' unmet needs with internal resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional areas to address opportunities with scientific/medical information.
• Identify potential external speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored programs.
• Participate in national and regional conferences to support Medical/Clinical strategy and gather competitive information.
• Evaluate external clinical research collaboration opportunities and facilitate IITs and company-sponsored trials.
