Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an MSC Lead Class 6 to support daily operations in the MSC area at the Humboldt, TN facility. The role provides guidance to team members, covers absences and breaks, and aids supervisors in ensuring safe, efficient production activities.

The position offers $21.95 per hour with emphasis on leadership, safety, and productivity. Responsibilities include assisting in MSC department operations, maintaining workflow, and covering shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with production team members.
• Ability to perform multiple positions within the department.
• Forklift experience preferred or ability to become certified.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in the daily operation of the MSC department.
• Support production goals, productivity, and workflow throughout the MSC area.
• Provide guidance and instruction to team members when supervision is not present.
• Fill in as needed to cover absenteeism, breaks, and emergency situations.
• Operate forklifts and transport materials when required and authorized.
• Haul frames to the protein plant and load condemn trailers when necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures, machine guarding requirements, and operational standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervision or maintenance immediately.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety requirements throughout assigned work areas.
• Comply with all Tyson Foods policies and procedures.
