Job summary

RTX’s Processing, Guidance & Control (PG&C) Center in Tucson, AZ, seeks an entry-level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer II to build high fidelity simulations for missile design and flight tests. You will develop modeling solutions, perform trade studies, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.

You will provide technical expertise for simulation products, support plan development, and communicate results

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM completed by start date.
• Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB and Python for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions and conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance.
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities per program schedule.
• Develop documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
