Job summary

Vertical Talent Solutions is seeking a senior MS Solutions Engineer (Level 4) in Tigard, OR. The role focuses on designing and delivering large-scale Microsoft solutions, including enterprise migrations and tenant migrations, with hands-on engineering and project leadership.

The ideal candidate will lead architecture for Azure, M365, AD, and related technologies, and guide migration efforts across sizable user bases in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in large MS migrations and email migrations across enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, AD, and scripting with PowerShell.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and modern identity controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for Microsoft technologies including Azure, M365, SharePoint and Teams.

Overview

The MS Systems Engineer (L4) is a senior technical role focused on the design and delivery of large-scale Microsoft solutions, including enterprise Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations (40, 100, 500 users and enterprise environments). This position combines solution architecture, project leadership, and hands‑on engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture for Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams
• Lead and support large Microsoft migrations, including email and tenant-to-tenant migrations

Technical & Engineering Skills

• Deep expertise in: Large MS Migrations, Email Migrations – 40, 100. 500, Enterprise
• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PowerShell
• Entra ID (Azure AD) including MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC
• Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware)
• Experience with network infrastructure: Routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, ACLs
• Advanced skills in solution design, system integration, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Windows desktop and server operating systems
• (Windows XP through Windows 11; Server 2008 R2 through 2022)
