Qualifications

• Must take NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and First Aid, Health, & Safety courses prior to starting.
• ASEP Coaching course completed before May 15, 2013 not required.
• NFHS Heat Illness Prevention course must be completed annually.
• NFHS COVID-19 Course must be completed.

Responsibilities

• State Health & Safety laws and policies (link provided).
• Maintain concussion certificate on file annually.
• Maintain Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate on file annually.
• Comply with TSSAA/TMSAA requirements.
• When applicable, keep Fundamentals of Coaching certificate on file.
• When applicable, keep First Aid, Health, & Safety certificate on file.
• New: NFHS Heat Illness Prevention course on file annually.
• New: NFHS COVID-19 Course on file.
