Qualifications

• ASEP Coaching Education Course completed before May 15, 2013 exempts NFHS courses.
• NFHS Heat Illness Prevention required annually.
• NFHS COVID-19 Course required for all coaches.
• Must comply with state health and safety policies for athletic programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete required NFHS and ASEP courses prior to assuming the position.
• Maintain copies of concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and other safety certificates on file yearly.
• Ensure compliance with TSSAA/ TMSAA health and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete NFHS Heat Illness Prevention and COVID-19 courses as required.
