Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a Patient Services Manager to oversee scheduling for in-house and outside patient tests and treatments, ensuring timely authorizations and smooth patient flow.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a nonprofit hospital with a strong commitment to patient care and must bring at least 3 years of experience in patient access or related billing roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years' experience in Patient Access, Billing, Cash Collections, Insurance and/or Pre-certification requirements or hospital-related experience.
• No certification/license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the daily activities of scheduling in-house and outside patient tests and treatments, including obtaining necessary authorizations.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Associates Degree, Medical Terminology or Health Care Management

Required Experience:

Required: Three (3) years' experience in Patient Access, Billing, Cash Collections, Insurance and/or Pre-certification requirements or directly related experience in a hospital. Preferred: Five (5) years' experience in Patient Access, Billing, Cash Collections, Insurance and/or Pre-certification requirements or directly related experience in a hospital.
