Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a billing professional to manage patient accounts, ensure correct information in the billing system, and drive timely payments. The role includes posting charges, adjustments and payments, following EOBs, and managing accounts receivable with multiple insurers. Experience in hospital billing is preferred.

The position supports the Business Office and requires attention to detail and familiarity with medical billing workflows in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: College Degree

• Responsible for patient accounts, ensuring that all needed information is correct in the billing system so that charges can be processed and sent for payment.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for patient accounts, ensuring that all needed information is correct in the specific billing system so that the charges can be processed and sent for payment. Responsible for patient accounts until paid in full or turned over to an outside collection agency. Posting (charges, adjustments and payments), EOB follow-up, working A/R, working with various insurance companies. Experience in medical/physician hospital patient billing background.
