AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift in the MS neuro unit. Position is 36 hours per week on a 16‑week contract with a pay rate of $59 per hour.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, medication safety, and individualized patient care plans. Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, RN license, and BLS certification, with 2+ years of recent MS neuro unit experience; Cerner experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years RN experience in an MS neuro unit within the last 12 months.
• RN license required; BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Follow infection prevention precautions and medication safety policies.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
• Prioritize and complete follow-up assessments; modify plans as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and perform thorough hand-offs.
• Promote an exceptional patient experience through clear communication with patients, families, and staff.
