St. David Catholic School in Davie, Florida has an opening for a qualified Middle School English and Language Arts Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional plan for Middle School ELA students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will be based on years of experience and certification.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Secondary Education, English, Language Arts, or subject-related field.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Language Arts.
• Strong presentation skills and use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Fully committed, supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
