Position Summary:

The Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM) seeks adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management Information Systems (MIS). Responsibilities include developing and delivering lectures, preparing and grading assignments, utilizing the Canvas learning management system, holding office hours, verifying attendance, and submitting grades to the Registrar. MTSM offers undergraduate degrees in Business with concentrations including MIS, and graduate degrees such as MBA, MS in Management, and Ph.D. in Business Data Science.

Essential Functions:
  1. Develop and deliver course lectures.
  2. Prepare and grade assignments.
  3. Use Canvas LMS effectively.
  4. Hold student office hours as needed.
  5. Verify student attendance and submit grades.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
  • Previous college-level teaching experience.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Current employment related to the teaching subject.
  • Substantial professional experience in the field within the last 5 years.
  • Teaching evaluations from previous college courses (if applicable).
  • At least two reference letters focusing on teaching skills, domain knowledge, and mentorship.
  • A personal statement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution.
  • Professional engagement demonstrating application of specialized knowledge.
