Job summary

Marquette Montessori Academy in South Bend, IN is seeking an Athletic Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certified and AED Trained preferred.
• Master's degree in school administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SBCSC schedule and add games to develop players and opportunities.
• Hire officials, athletic trainers, and security; supervise home events.
• Provide leadership in recruiting, selecting, assigning, and evaluating athletic coaches.
• Communicate facility use and maintenance issues with engineering and Buildings & Grounds.
• Foster partnerships with community organizations to expand opportunities.
• Develop and supervise compliance with all applicable rules and codes.
• Maintain athletics website with schedules and events.
• Work with coaching staff and maintenance to improve playing areas and equipment.
• Fundraise for and manage the athletics budget with admin approval.
• Run parent meetings and communicate changes to parents via multiple channels.
• Help recruit and develop student-athletes who excel academically and athletically.
• Arrange transportation for away contests and after-school activities.
• Provide paperwork to athletes and maintain records required by SBCSC.
• Organize ticket takers, officials, equipment, field maintenance, and water for home events.
• Organize sports banquets to honor athletes.
• Strive for improvement through knowledge and opportunities for growth.
• Must work with a variety of individuals to maintain programs.
• Make sound decisions on weather and other issues in the best interest of the LaSalle Community.
• Keep LaSalle traditions and spirit alive while motivating others.
