Job summary

Durham Academy is seeking a part-time Seasonal Middle School Track and Field Assistant Coach with a specialization in field events. The coach will teach, coach, and mentor 30+ middle school athletes and report directly to the Head Coach.

Responsibilities include attending practices and meets, developing workouts for varying skill levels, and collaborating with fellow coaches, parents, and student-athletes. The role is based in Durham, NC, with seasonally scheduled practices.

Qualifications

• Experience competing as a field event athlete at the high school or college level.
• Passion for the sport of track & field, especially the field events.
• Must be able to develop and implement workouts appropriate for varying skill levels.
• Ability to communicate and work well with other coaches, parents, and student-athletes.
• Enjoy helping student-athletes reach their potential.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Attend practices and meets.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD ASSISTANT COACH - FIELD EVENTS

Durham Academy is accepting applications for part-time varsity assistant Middle School track coach with a specialization in field events

Position : Teaching, coaching, and mentoring 30+ Middle School athletes. Will report directly to the Head Coach.

When:

• Practice times Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 5 pm
