Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk in Kent, WA. You will receive, store, and issue parts and supplies for the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment, while maintaining an organized store room and upholding 5S standards.

You will also update computerized records, work with vendors, perform cycle counts, assist mechanics, and handle light transportation tasks as needed. This role requires hands-on reliability and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue supplies and materials for repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Maintain the store room in an organized manner.
• Implement and maintain 5S systems and process improvements.
• Maintain and update computerized purchasing/inventory records.
• Input and research inventory, direct requisitions, disbursements, and stock history.
• Communicate with vendors, monitor stock movement, and prepare purchase requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and conduct physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist mechanics with catalogs to determine parts required.
• Pick up, deliver, load and unload items; operate forklift for large items.
• Inspect, clean and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment and advise users on maintenance.

Job description

Shift: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM Hourly Rate: $26.75 an hour

Essential Functions

• Receive, store and issue supplies and materials primarily for the repair and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain the store room in an organized manor
• Implement and maintain 5s systems and process improvements
• Maintain and update computerized purchasing/inventory records.
• Input and research inventory and direct requisitions, disbursements, inventory adjustments and the history of parts use.
• Communicate closely with vendors, monitor movement of stock and supplies, solicit forecasted supplies and requirements from users, prepare and submit purchase requisitions and develop plans and rearrange stock to accommodate inventory movement.
• Monitor stock levels and complete physical inventory and cycle counting.
• Assist mechanics and other team members with catalogs to determine parts required.
• Pick up, deliver, load and unload items as required.
• Operate fork-lift to move large items such as equipment and motors.
• Issue, receive, inspect, clean, and make minor repairs on power tools and other equipment and advise users on cleaning and minor repairs of used stock, supplies, and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned
