Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Marshall, Missouri facility. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site and perform troubleshooting, installation, replacement, rebuilding, testing and repair of plant and production equipment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of progressive mechanic experience in manufacturing, plus vocational training in machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years progressive mechanic experience in manufacturing/production.
• Vocational tech training in machine maintenance.
• Read and write English for production/quality documents.
• Basic math skills: fractions and percentages.
• Electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility.
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair and test plant equipment.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines to locate problems, replace defective parts and adjust as needed.
• Use manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to service equipment.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience.
• May work seven days a week and extended shifts.

Hourly Rate: $23.17 an hour

Position Responsibilities

• You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order
• You will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation
• Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment
• Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience
• You may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Vocational tech training in machine maintenance
• Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
• Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages
• Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools
• Electrical experience
