Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced MRO Quality Inspector for a client at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, Texas. The role focuses on ensuring FAA and customer compliance through thorough inspections of aircraft, engines, and components.

You will review records, verify data, and maintain quality documentation while supporting audits, investigations, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance teams. FAA A&P certification and Part 145 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current FAA A&P Certificate.
• Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance, inspection, or quality experience.
• Experience in FAA Part 145 repair-station operations.
• Proficiency in 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145.
• Strong understanding of maintenance recordkeeping and airworthiness requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical data and identify nonconforming work.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required.
• Business jet and Part 135 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection stamps, authorizations, and quality records.
• Support audits and major repair activities.
