Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or repair.
• Engineering or operations experience within a manufacturing or repair industry preferred.
• Mechanical or aerospace engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all MRO engineering activities related to the Aftermarket Separation Agreement for affected MRO products.
• Support Aftermarket Separation Agreement document reviews and Controlled builds of affected LRUs.
• Develop and implement solutions to technical issues.
• Review existing repair data, technical drawings, and previous repair history for complete mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and components.
• Provide written technical instructions for repairs or modifications to maintenance teams, customers, and regulatory authorities.
• Review and analyze test reject data to develop solutions that improve test yield.
• Produce technical analyses to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, customer, and OEM requirements; update and revise technical data in shop procedures accordingly.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate information clearly and respond to administrative and customer queries on technical topics.
