Job summary

Serova, a San Francisco biotech company, seeks a hands-on RNA scientist to make and QC patient-specific mRNA and LNP vaccines. You will build fast, reliable pipelines for production and QC, enabling rapid scaling as we advance a GMP facility in collaboration with Twist.

You will contribute to process development, transfer to GMP, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• A PhD, or 3+ years in industry, working on RNA or nucleic acid therapeutics.
• Hands-on with IVT, purification, LNP formulation and QC
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate
• Authorized to work in the US, or a realistic path to get there

Responsibilities

• Make and QC our mRNA and LNPs.
• Build the process and QC pipelines to make each vaccine quickly and reliably.
• Help transfer the process into the GMP facility we are building with Twist.
