Job summary
Sanofi US in Waltham, MA seeks an mRNA Analytical Development Scientist to advance LC-MS based characterization for vaccine candidates. You will work with the Biochemical and Biophysical group to develop, qualify and validate analytical methods supporting release and stability testing.
The role requires PhD or MSc in analytical science with hands-on LC-MS experience and strong communication. Onsite work in a fast-paced team environment is expected.
Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related sciences.
- Experience in pharma/biotech analytical development or QC is preferred.
- Expertise in LC-MS for characterization of proteins, oligonucleotides, lipids and degradants.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced technology for biochemical and biophysical assay development with LC-MS focus.
- Collaborate with CMC and analytical leads to support process and product development.
- Write and review method docs and characterization reports for regulatory filings.
- Execute complex experiments, train junior staff, and ensure timely delivery.
