Sanofi in Waltham, MA, invites applications for a 2027 Spring Co-op in the mRNA Analytics Group. You will support analytical activities for RNA drug substances and gain hands-on experience with RNA characterization techniques while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a modern lab.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an MS/PhD program in Analytical Chemistry or related fields, authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and able to commit to 40 hours per week for six months.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD or MS program in Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled throughout the co‑op/internship duration.
• Must be able to relocate to the office and work 40hrs/week, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Assist analytical experiments to characterize RNA drug substances using NGS, gel electrophoresis, PCR, LC, and MS.
• Support development and optimization of analytical methods under guidance from senior scientists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals.
• Document procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks.
• Summarize and present data to team members.
• Assist with routine lab operations and equipment maintenance.
• Follow lab safety guidelines and internal procedures.
