Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for weekends at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This part-time role delivers high-quality imaging and patient care during Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain images per Radiologist's directions and procedures.
• Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media, and adjusts images for quality.
• Delivers excellent customer service and maintains empathetic communication with patients.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions to reduce anxiety and build trust.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.47 - $58.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position:

MRI Technologist - Weekender

Location:

Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL

Part-Time, 20 hours weekly

Hours:

Every Saturday and Sunday 1300 - 2130 to 1430 - 2300

What you will do:

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.
• Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
• Previous MRI experience, required
• Strong computer skills Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
• Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferred
• At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology), or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certification.
• Current CPR certification (BLS) issued the by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
