Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an MRI Technologist II for a part-time role at Northwest Community Hospital. The position provides 24 hours per week, with a 3pm–11:30pm schedule, on-call duties, and rotating weekends and holidays.

You will operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images, position patients, and ensure high-quality exams while delivering excellent patient care and clear explanations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• IEMA licensure preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• MRI experience or other radiology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot software.

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed.
• Positions patients and administers contrast as needed to ensure high-quality exams.
• Delivers excellent customer service and explains procedures to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

Hourly Pay Range

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
• Position: MRI Technologist II
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
• Part-Time, 24 hours weekly
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What You Will Do

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
