Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for night shifts at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is part-time (16 hours/week) with an on-site schedule including every other weekend, 10:30pm–7:00am, plus one holiday and on-call duties.

Offered hourly pay ranges from $31.46 to $48.76, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and premium pay for shifts, on-call, and holidays. Candidates should have ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and IEMA licensure, plus preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required; BLS CPR/AED required.
• 1 year x-ray experience in a surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations for diagnosis.
• Explain radiology procedures to patients and position them for safe exams.

Hourly Pay Range: $31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Radiologic Technologist II - Nights

Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

Part Time - 16 hours per week

Hours: Every other Saturday and Sunday,10:30pm - 7:00am. One holiday per year and on-call schedule.

What you will do

The Radiologic Technologist II will operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations to provide the clinical team with films, images, or other records to be used for diagnosis and/or treatment. The Radiologic Technologist II will explain radiology procedures to patients, position patients for safe examinations, and help establish the patient's trust to the clinical team.

What you will need

• Education : High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred.
• License : IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Certifications : ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required. BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
• Experience : 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.
