Endeavor Health is hiring an MRI Technologist II for Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with shifts Mon-Fri, rotating evenings and on-call. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is included, and compensation ranges hourly based on experience.

You will operate MRI equipment, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure high-quality exams while delivering compassionate patient care and first-rate customer service.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; associate degree or higher is preferred.
• Illinois IEMA licensure is preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot software.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images under Radiologist directions.
• Positions patients, administers contrast media and optimizes image quality.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains compassionate patient communication.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
• Position: MRI Technologist II
• Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
• Full-Time, 40 hours weekly
• Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating mid to evening shifts, on-call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
