Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, maintain patient safety, and ensure high-quality images in a clinical setting.
The role requires MR certification (ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB with ARRT-MR) and graduation from a specialty radiologic technology program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree.
MRI Technologist I performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality.
Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history. Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to safety principles like ALARA. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and select pulse sequences based on protocols. Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate commitment to organizational priorities.
Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR is required. Graduation from a specialty radiologic technology program is necessary; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficiency in routine and complex duties, strong attention to safety, and effective communication skills are essential.
Conducted primarily in a clinical setting, with adherence to all policies and procedures. Additional department-specific competencies will support job performance.
