Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and assist licensed practitioners. You will prepare patients, verify correct imaging protocols, and monitor image quality, while educating students and other healthcare providers.

The role requires certification from ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT or equivalent, completion of a radiologic technology program (bachelor's preferred), and strong knowledge of MRI safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, technical imaging principles, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and document clinical history.
• Optimize imaging protocols while prioritizing patient safety and applying ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access under supervision.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Apply MRI safety principles and participate in safety implant investigations.
• Assist with MRI procedures and select appropriate pulse sequences based on protocols.
• Educate, monitor, and collaborate with healthcare team members.

They perform MRI procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners. Responsibilities include preparing patients, ensuring correct imaging protocols, administering medications as prescribed, evaluating image quality, and maintaining safety standards to minimize risks. They also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with MRI interventional procedures.
