Job description

Role Overview: MRI Technologists utilize radiofrequencies within a magnetic field to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging. They independently conduct MRI procedures, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and ensure patient safety and proper imaging protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct patient information, verify identity, and prepare for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Optimize imaging protocols, apply ALARA principles, and evaluate image quality.
• Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures and support licensed practitioners.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
• Apply safety principles for patients, staff, and themselves, including MRI safety protocols.
• Select appropriate pulse sequences and participate in safety and implant procedures.
