Job summary

UCHealth in Englewood, CO, is seeking a MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with practice standards and organizational values. This onsite role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT/MRIT registration within 12 months.

You will educate patients, administer contrast as needed, monitor conditions, and ensure image quality while following safety protocols in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in MRI or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; card in-hand before start date; renewals valid.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; schedule and educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform safety checks and quality control; report malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and resolve image quality issues; transmit and report scans.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
