Akumin is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist for our Beckley, WV facility. This mobile role involves traveling to CAMC and WVU partner sites, supporting a dynamic on-the-go work environment. You will explain procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and deliver high-quality imaging.

Ideal candidates are ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered, possess CPR certification, a state license, and a valid driver’s license. Associate degree or equivalent, and ARRT MR registry preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Registered technologist with ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS credentials.
• Active CPR certification and valid state license as required.
• Driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images.
• Order supplies, clean the unit, and assist with transport daily.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PCs.

We are hiring a full-time MRI Technologist at our Beckley, WV facility. This mobile role offers the opportunity to travel and support our expanding CAMC and WVU partner sites, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic, on-the-go work environment.

Our MRI technologists use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain the procedure and put them at ease. With a caring attitude and keen attention to detail, they ensure patient comfort, safety and satisfaction every step of the way.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS
• State License, as required.
• Technologists performing mid-day moves
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
