Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for neonatal to geriatric patients in outpatient settings.

Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or MR program; RT with 1 year radiology experience or ARMRIT/ARRT MR registry; BLS required. Preferred ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films for designated patient groups in an outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
